Aluminium Sash Windows
We have been manufacturing Aluminium sash windows for over 40 years. The profiles are our own design, extruded for us in mills around Europe. Each profile is thermally broken using a polyurethane resin thermal break (pour and debridge process).
The frames can be directly fixed through a recessed channel, or installed with lugs. The size of the outer frame lends itself to being retro fitted in to the box frame of an old sash window. The benefit of this is a quick installation, as there’s next to no disturbance to the interior décor and the character of the glazing is retained.
We supply frames in either fully prepared, made to measure kits, fully glazed or glazed from free issue glass. Frames are available in our standard off the shelf white Ral 9910 Semi gloss or a choice of standard Ral or anodised finishes can be painted from our large mill stock. Dual Ral colour is also available.
Free issue glazing is very popular, and becomes viable from 25 frames or more. You order kits for assembly by us using your glass units, delivered to our plant in Market Deeping. Our assembly fee is reasonable and when considered with the return you will make on the glass makes for a very competitive tender winning package. The largest job we have worked on was for 2000 frames on Barnet general Hospital in this way.
Face fixed astragal bars, deep bottom rails and sash horns are optional extras available for dressing your windows to be as authentic as possible. Both sashes tilt inwards for cleaning and have an optional steel stay to the bottom sash to support them whilst tilted. The window comes with its own integral 95mm cill, which has no projection. |
