Maintained factory glazed frames are guaranteed for 10 years against defect from the date goods are invoiced. The majority of the hardware components used have been tried and tested in the field for decades.

In the unlikely event of a component failure we reserve the right to inspect any failed component prior to replacement. Components are replaced on a supply only exchange basis. Carriage charges apply to all spares and are chargeable at cost. We shall replace components with a similar type if the original is no longer available. No guarantee claims will be considered if any of the following apply:

• Contract price has not been made in full.
  
• Windows are operated contrary to method statements.
  
• Maintenance schedules have not been adhered to.
  
• There is evidence of abuse, neglect, misuse.
  
• Final decision rests with Clearview windows ltd.
  

How to Specify Clearview

The following specification is for the Clearview high performance Thermally broken Aluminium sash window:

Slim 35mm Meeting rail / Interlock. 95mm deep outer frame. 35mm deep bottom rail. Integral 95mm snub cill section. Accepts 28mm sealed units.

Document L compliant if glazed with soft coat low emissivity glass and Argon gas filled cavity. (Warmedge spacer may be used with standard K glass and argon gas). Marine wraparound glazing with knock on stiles and rails, mechanically joined silicone sealed joints throughout.
Both sashes tilt inwards for ease of cleaning. Bottom sash supported by optional stainless steel stays. Plated Steel pivot bars. Drop in and take out clutch / brake shoe sets. Easy release tilt latches. Choice of Block and tackle, spiral, or constant force balances for counterbalance of sash weight. White or black gaskets. White locking catches. Cut outs in jamb section for hardware maintenance. Bubble and flipper seal to a 35mm bottom rail to close on to cill section.

Top rail and bottom rail extrusions have integral finger lift flange. All 9 profiles are thermally broken incorporating a Polyurethane resin. Q.Lon and wool pile weather strips seal sash edges to prevent air, water and noise ingression. Tested to Class C exposure.
